A two-voice delay that lets you retune the second repeat to build melodic echoes and evolving rhythmic patterns quickly inside your DAW.
Description
MidiFripp is one of those small tools I keep reaching for when I want instant, musical repeats. It runs as a lightweight VST2 on Windows and gives you two delay lines that interact musically — the second echo can be pitch-shifted so repeats turn into harmonies or shifting motifs. The layout is straightforward, so you can sculpt repeating parts without getting lost in menus.
Use MidiFripp to spark ideas or to add motion to static parts. It’s perfect for layering arpeggios, making rhythmic doubles, or producing ambient textures that evolve over time. Key highlights include:
- Two independent delay voices
- Pitch control for the second repeat to create harmonized echoes
- Simple controls for feedback, mix and timing
- Light CPU footprint as a VST2 for Windows
