Brzoza is a compact two-operator FM synth for Windows that delivers deep modulation, tight envelopes and precise tuning for gritty basses, bells and evolving pa
Description
Brzoza packs a lot of sound-design power into a small FM engine. With two tone-generators and a total of six modulation paths, it lets you sculpt everything from glassy bell tones to aggressive leads and textured pads. I use it when I want fast access to FM timbres without getting lost in a huge interface — it’s immediate, musical and surprisingly versatile.
Under the hood you get selectable wave shapes (sine, saw, triangle and square) plus a width control for the square wave, options to lock pitch or follow your keyboard, octave selection and full coarse/fine tuning. Each voice has a dedicated amplitude ADSR and a three-segment pitch contour with depth controls, and the FM amount can be tied to the incoming modulation level for dynamic interaction between the two sound sources. Handy pan controls and reset switches keep your sound staged and repeatable.
- Who this is for: electronic producers, sound designers and anyone exploring FM textures.
- Perfect use cases: metallic percussive hits, warm or brittle basses, evolving atmospheric pads and pristine leads.
- Format & platform: VST2 for Windows.
